This extension solves a few problems. I have a free standing base cabinet that I place my blender, toaster, and Keurig coffee maker in. The blender and toaster had power cords long enough to plug individually into the nearest outlet. But the coffee maker had a short cord, so I used this extension cord to plug it into an outlet. A flat fork looks neater and takes up less space. And the 3ft length was perfect. I've bought these 2ft and 3ft extenders before and they all work great and solve my problem perfectly anyway. Good purchase, very satisfied.
