I took two different handheld massagers to try, #1 I have carpal tunnel syndrome from years of typing at my desk at work, and #2, I have arthritis in several of my fingers and they SICK almost every day. So I found two such handheld massagers and decided to try them out to see if there was a difference between them. So, with this one I found it pretty easy. Charged up, hand in, I turned on - heat, mode - which is how the shiatsu balls roll - and then intensity. I could NOT go above the lowest intensity as even at that low intensity the pressure was almost unbearable - yes it hurts. So why would I put my aching, arthritic fingers in a handheld massager that would make my hand ache even more? The other massager had a different mode in addition to this one - it was sort of a buzz/pulse mode that felt really good while the shiatsu balls rolled around at low speed and the warmth soothed my hand/fingers. So I feel like that's not what I need. Maybe others like it, but it just doesn't work for my hand problems.
