Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 SUV 255/50 R20 109T winter by Agata Kleczaj ᠌
Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!
Before that, I used Haku 7 for 6 years in winter, it suited me perfectly, but last year a pair of wheels lost their geometry and began to knock at speed. I tried X-ice4 last winter, I bought one for my wife for a car within a 16m radius, she liked it. I decided not to experiment and save on safety, I took the same one for myself. Surprisingly like asphalt, winter has not yet come.
- Manageability even at positive temperatures is better than on inexpensive Korean summer tires. For spikes, the noise is moderate. Appearance is subjective and doesn't matter to me.
- Size 245/60/18, not common and expensive, you could take for example 235/60/18 for 10tr cheaper per set. With other manufacturers, the difference in this size is not so significant. Not silent, after 100 km / h there is a sound similar to the sound of a helicopter flying far enough away. At the same time, during the run-in, the first tens of kilometers were even noisier.
