I bought this for a computer I'm building for my nephew. It has a PCIe 6+2 plus 6 pin connector (essentially 2 6 pin or in other words 8 pin plus 6 pin). I bought an old AMD r9 390 off ebay to build (paired with a Ryzen 1600 AF) and it's actually quite capable. Pretty much every test I've run (nearly 20 games) has found the GPU to be the same as the AMD 580 8GB GPU I have. 390 is a power hungry GPU and this PSU works great in it. I ran a series of synthetic tests with the GPU and CPU overclocked and it works perfectly. I recommend this power supply to anyone who wants to use it cheaply in their system. I've added a photo of a computer with a power supply.
