They work really well.
These discs are one of my main metal finishing/cleaning/smoothing tools. Unlike grinding wheels, they leave a nice smooth surface. Ideal for cleaning mating surfaces and removing old gasket/gasket material. Be careful as they are designed to remove metal, they can also damage the mating surface if you are too aggressive. I love this product and will continue to rely on it!
