They stay where you hang them and keep the seeds dry

They're strong, well made, and made of stainless steel so they don't discolour in a snap and snap onto the cage bars. actually I will buy a few more. I have seed cups but if I want to add fruits and vegetables to my bird's diet I will not put food in their seed cups because they will contaminate the seeds and I will probably have to discard them in favor of fresh ones. I put "wet" food in one of those separate hanging cups and the seeds stay dry. The cups are immediately pulled out for rinsing. the dishwasher does them every night. great comfort.
