Bought these to replace my bird cage, their bowls were plastic and I didn't like it. I was hoping it would be a good size to already fit in the holder in the cage but they were a bit small. Although the guts are very shiny very easy to clean very good depth my birds have trouble discarding food so it's always a bonus

The shells are fine but one of the holders has peeled off with cheap chrome-like paint. The material underneath looked rusty and was clearly not stainless steel. The first couple of these I bought were ok, but maybe the quality isn't that great anymore. Buyers of these beware, birds can easily get metal poisoning from chewing on something that is rusty or non-stainless steel.

Perfect size! I have a budgie and it doesn't fit in the two panels on the right. I often find him in the dishes, he poops in the dishes. I looked for a smaller stainless steel plate that he couldn't easily fit into so he wouldn't poop on his plate. That looks great. It's slightly larger than a 1/2 cup measuring cup. Very happy with my purchase and bought three more.

I bought this mug as a treat for fresh chops for my Quaker parrot. It does the job but I would like it to hold tighter in the holder as my parrot threw it out of the holder a few times in the first week. I ended up using a small bobby pin to secure it and it stopped. I was then able to remove the hair clip and things got better. Washes very easily, the finish is nice, the product is good.

I'm picky when it comes to quality design versus cheap. I needed a metal design when my 45 pound dog smashed the plastic bowls I had installed in the drawers. This dog is new to the family. They're strong, well made, and made of stainless steel so they don't discolour in a snap and snap onto the cage bars. actually I will buy a few more. I have seed cups but if I want to add fruits and vegetables to my bird's diet I will not put food in their seed cups because they will contaminate the seeds and I will probably have to discard them in favor of fresh ones. I put "wet" food in one of those separate hanging cups and the seeds stay dry. The cups are immediately pulled out for rinsing.

The cup itself feels flimsy and cheap. The cup does not fit snugly against the retaining ring and moves slightly from side to side in the ring. I got this to fit in a bird carrier but can't use it for that purpose as the cup rumble doesn't fit snugly to the ring. Also, the flat plates that bolt to attach to the cage are not level and flush with each other. This is hardly an issue if you attach to a cage but can't attach to flimsy plastic. Exactly as pictured. It just hangs great. About 3 inches in diameter, about 1.5 inches in height. I used this as a water bowl for a small parrot. Since I change their water frequently, I didn't worry about reducing the available water, which would mean "downsizing" to a smaller plate size. It was just what we needed. I use them in my puppy kennel. (very active little terrier, training) Puppy needs one of his own safe place. We have other dogs that prefer puppy food.
