The sink itself is not bad. The size is large and makes a very robust impression. However, a sink is useless if you can't install it. It took me several hours to install 6 of the 8 mounting clips. I have installed stainless steel sinks from other manufacturers in the past and they were easy to install. The mounting clips on this sink are very poorly designed. 1) They are barely long enough to work with our quartz countertop. 2) The clips have indentations on the surface that touches the underside of the countertop, making it look like they were designed for a wood surface. The serrations did not make contact with the quartz cover and tended to slip when tightening the screws. 3) The clamps were weak and bent when tightened, almost slipping off. 4) The part of the clamp that attaches to the sink should slide into the notch on the sink. The notch is small and invisible, so you'll have to "guess" where it goes. It would be much better if there was a duct built into the sink. Now to the sink itself. The space for the crane mechanism is too narrow. I assume the designer did this to free up space in the sink. The problem is that it was almost impossible to put a nut on the faucet because there was very little space. After several attempts over the course of a few hours, I finally got the faucet plugged in. Other stainless steel sinks I've installed have solid metal drains. This sink uses a plastic drain with a very thin metal ring. The product is so thin that it bent the assembly when I accidentally dropped it 3 feet on the floor. The nut that attaches the drain to the sink is plastic and attaches to the plastic body of the drain. It took quite a while to unscrew the nut so the drain could be installed and even longer to put the nut back on, she kept wanting to cross three over and over again. To top it off, the drain didn't even come with a nut to attach the pipe. I almost gave up and went to the hardware store to buy a replacement drain assembly, but I stuck with it and ended up installing and waterproofing it. I'd be happy to return this sink due to design issues, but since our brand new quartz countertop was custom cut to fit it, I had no choice but to spend a day and a few trips to the hardware store to install it. I will not buy this brand again in the future.
