Good for neuropathy or just those who need more leg muscle stimulation.

My legs have been numb for many years and I have been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. There doesn't seem to be any conventional medical methods to help, which is frustrating for me. Physical therapy, which was worth the ridiculous extra per session, consisted of walking around the subject for 10 minutes, getting on and off a chair 10 times, and walking up and down a 4-inch step block with each foot 20 times. , I can do it myself without paying more than I can afford. Unfortunately, I can't do the routine every day or my hips start to hurt, so I had to be a bit more passive. Everyone has their own problems. I don't feel much, the pressure on the soles of my feet turns into pain and the massagers are basically too intense. A bath with light massage and warm bath is good, but the duty of filling and emptying it with each use is a real challenge and I find it difficult to handle the weight and bend down to pick it up. When I saw a chiropractor a few years ago for back problems from sitting in a computer chair for long periods of time at work, he would finish each segment with an electrostimulator, which relaxed the muscles and basically felt any pain throughout the day. I thought this might work well. You need to get your feet wet, so I step on a hot, damp towel to make them more conductive. Then I sit in my lift chair, lean vertically to fit the sole, and start with the remote control. It has 25 programs and 99 intensity levels, depending on the program mode, I can choose the intensity from 40 to 95. I usually go through different programs and spend a 25-30 minute session. I find it stimulates circulation and is probably better than all that running and doesn't hurt my hips. Recommended. Okay now I have an informative update as I've been using this for a while. First, it really works and there are better ways to use it. I switched from a wet towel to a cheap bath bucket and used Epsom or other bath salts. Hold for five to twenty minutes, then go to the device. Now I notice details and differences between different modes. It used to sometimes take level 50 to feel something, now level 20 gives good feedback. Some programs like 7 will give you a good push while others like 9 will give you a push, some will take turns pushing slowly from one foot to the other, some will give a faster and more intense version of it. There are other programs that vary in speed, some of them work the backs of the calves, others alternate legs, and some hit both sides equally. Even after getting used to it this time, I could barely handle anything at 70 or higher, so I didn't crank it to the max. I did most of it in my 50s after I got used to it and cycled through programs for a few minutes at a time. When the cycle was complete I felt refreshed, it relieved a bit of the full leg numbness that sometimes occurs during sleep without walking. My legs seem to be a lot more flexible than they were a few months ago. While I won't go so far as to say that it cures neuropathic damage, medical science has largely disputed that possibility, but I feel like it minimizes any further progression. The last time I spoke to my doctor about this, part of my problem wasn't working for a while, my activity level was much lower which makes the problem worse. While the source, high glucose, poor circulation, others need to be addressed with medication and the like. Exercise and similar stimulation are paramount in minimizing pain, stiffness and numbness. That's what this product is great at. I'm not very flexible yet, I'm trying to lose weight to achieve this, but if I could use upper body pads I would. Some can get even more out of use, but the job it does for me is still excellent. Recommended twice for my upgrade.

Pros
  • ELECTRICAL MUSCLE STIMULATION CARE OF OUR BODY WITHOUT DRUGS - Different from traditional kneading, shiatsu, vibration massage for legs. This is an EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) foot massager. like a "second heart" blood flow booster; like a "family doctor" taking care of your legs and body.
Cons
  • Out of fashion
