I bought another plug very similar to this one from a different source (not Revain) but the item description claims a higher amperage than the actual device and it didn't work (only 500mA ). I was wondering if this one would actually deliver the amperage I need for my application as advertised. My application requires 650mA. I received the item today and did a quick test and everything worked great. I'm so glad I found this product as the combination of voltage (9V) and higher current proved difficult to find in this case. BTW: My application was to replace a battery powered 5 watt (6 AA) LED light with this adapter to use a standard 120V AC household outlet. I ordered two more :)
