As silly as it may sound, I wish it had instructions on how to assemble the 3 pieces. It sat in the closet for several months until one day the grandparents came and showed the kids how to "assemble" it so that it could fly and not just go up and down. I find it ridiculous that I didn't get it sooner, but I'm glad the kids could laugh about it when we finally got it. Turns out you need to hold the stick, attach the ring, and then attach the heli wheel. Once everything is "assembled", quickly slide the ring up and remove it from the handle - this will cause the copter's wheel to fly up. *Face Palm* We would put the ring and copter back and have it bounce up and down for 5 seconds of fun. The only thing to note is that they are cheap plastic. They held up perfectly when "flying" unless there was a rough collision where part of the wheel/helicopter could break. My retriever picked up a few pieces as well, and careful removal was enough to break the wheel/helicopter part 7 times out of 10. If you know it's literally "chot" and don't expect longevity, it's worth it.
