I've used these in both my military and civilian life in the past. These pouches are designed to be frozen and thawed repeatedly without damaging the contents or packaging - I haven't found one that doesn't fit yet. ., other emergency kits you may have, and as short-term cover during a crisis when you're out of water. The packaging is strong but I still put them in my freezer bag, you never know how many knocks and falls they'll have to endure. The price is right, you'll find them cheaper at other retailers, but add the $15-$20 shipping cost (due to weight) with PRIME and you'll be covered and know what you're getting when for years. They were born on April 20th. packaged and have an expiry date of 25.4. - which is normal for this product.
