I'm so glad I chose this monitor. I've never owned a monitor and have lived off a tiny laptop screen my entire life. I had neck problems, kept looking down and wanted more screen real estate. This monitor had generally good reviews so I decided to buy it. The reviews turned out to be accurate because I am in love with this monitor. It connects easily, the stand is comfortable and stable. Images are very sharp (obviously not as sharp as the MacBook, but still great). The only thing I would like to say is that people have mentioned that the brightness is not the best and that's what I noticed at first too. But after 2 months of use I forgot about the brightness and it seems that the brightness suits me. All in all an EXCELLENT product. If you're looking for a great monitor at an affordable price, this is it. Also, I bought the 27" and was afraid at first that it would be too big, but I'm so glad I got it. At a size less than a 27, I wish I had bought a 27. perfect size
