This is a great find! I've been looking for cotton thread for a while and while I usually find cotton coated in poly or a blend of it, it's been a while since I've been able to find pure cotton thread locally. Its weight is perfect and at 1300m I should be able to complete a large project or two before having to change the spool. It works great on both of my machines (Singer & a Brother) and the bobbins wind well too. Not only does it sew up well, but afterwards it seems like it was meant to be part of a blanket. If you made a mistake and had to break the threads, it wasn't difficult even if I used more stitches. This is a 3" tall spool with a base of about 1.5" so it may not fit some conventional machines. I was lucky, Singer sits like a charm. If you have a small reel space, you might want to take a separate base for that reel type.
