Not hot enough, suitable for welding and soldering

This heat gun never gets hot. It was labeled "240 volts" and I'm guessing it was for a country with a 240 volt grid. I sent it back and got an identical product back. In any case, it was useless as a heat gun. I just bought a heat gun from my local hardware store and it worked really well.
