These practical and attractive little pouches are ideal for students. I put pens/markers in one pocket and headphones/charger in another and you're done! The zips are smooth-running, the material feels durable and the mottled dark gray color means it can also be carried in a backpack and doesn't pick up too much dirt. an iPhone charger and headphones in one bag if you pack the cables carefully. I would not necessarily recommend it for cosmetics due to the narrow width. When packaged a certain way, the bags stand out on the table by themselves, but I don't think they're necessarily designed that way. They tend to fall. But for my purposes they are great! And they don't *look* like a regular pencil case.
