Review on StarTech Com Power Splitter Adapter PYO4SATA by Gary Stringfield

I have used this PSU in several of my builds. This is a great option if you have power limitations and are out of SATA connections. I had an old source with a bad SATA terminal and was able to upgrade my server by connecting it to the existing end. I also used one in my "home server" which has 8 drives. I needed 2 more power connections. Search the internet to make sure you are not overloading the power supply. There are many websites where you can plug whatever you are going to connect to a power source in the future to ensure there is enough power to safely run all your drives, cards and adapters. These little things made it possible to use my old power supplies without an upgrade.
