This is by far the best tool for this - Japanese/Mitutoyo build quality.

I use this micrometer to measure case/neck thickness on all my gun cases. This is by far the best tool for this - Mitutoyo's Japanese build quality is second to none. Mounting in a vice makes the job quick and easy.
