The glass bottles themselves are nice and thick. The sizes are good for keeping side-by-side in the fridge without taking up too much horizontal space, but they'll definitely fit in most car cup holders. The real problem with them is the insanely cheap caps. The description speaks of stainless steel closures, but does not mention that there is a plastic element between the steel and the glass of the bottle that can detach. As a result almost all bottles I've ordered after a few months now have caps that twist unless you push very hard to remove the cap. This is a problem because even if you barely tighten the lid after you put it in the fridge and let it cool, the plastic on top of the lid will contract even more. This ridiculous design flaw has given me a hell of a lot of time to take my hat off. I am now looking for different caps on the internet.
