Review on Swagman XTC2 TILT Hitch Mount by Draven Louton

Very happy with this purchase. Switched from a 4 bike bike rack to this 2 bike bike rack. I have a women's beach cruiser style bike and I'm having a hard time adapting it to other bike racks without a special handlebar adapter that you need to purchase to make my bike style compatible with most other bike mounts (I've had trouble with the flexing of these rudders ). That bike rack got me out of this stupid bar! Hooray, one less thing to worry about and brace for! I've also found that my bike (beach cruiser) always sits lower than other bikes on bike racks that hold the bikes by the frame and not the wheels. This was another reason I bought this model as I no longer have to worry about my bike hitting the ground when we're going downhill or off a steep road. Love the padded sliding frame mounts - having a press release instead of a pivoting one is a bonus too. faster and faster! Tire holders work well with skinny 10 speed, stock, and mountain tires. Fat tires are NOT suitable for this, but this was not a problem for our family. The carrier doesn't wobble more than a tiny bit and that's due to the movable tilt hinge - THIS IS NOT A BIG deal AT ALL and anyone experiencing a lot of movement from what I've read in other reviews must be a little too tight. I use this on a 2x2 hitch and I have had no problems. SECURITY/LOCKING: While the bike rack itself does not lock bikes and you can attach the rack to your car, there are many holes and other parts that you can secure. Bike lock to achieve this. Overall I'm very happy with it
