Trailer Wiring Harness to Connectors

I bought this knowing it would be an easy install. The cable to the battery is not long enough. However, this is for my Van Nissan 1500. You need to connect an extra cable to get to the battery if you install it according to the instructions. If the manufacturer would attach a wire (to the battery) to the connector on the passenger side (from the rear brake/turn signal quick connector), it would be long enough to connect to the battery without splicing the extra wire.
