If your gutters are already up and you are using them for extra support, the rear clip is very tight and you will have a hard time slipping off the back of the gutter. Whether you're installing new gutters or reinforcing old ones, once the back clamp is in place and the hanger is in place, the screw is at an angle making it difficult to screw in with a standard drill bit, since the drill bit gets in the way the gutter. None of this was a problem with the slightly more expensive hangers I bought at Lowe's or Home Depot (longer screw, better angle).
