I bought this to use with my 2016 Ford Explorer. I love the idea that it's an umbrella that folds up like one of those little umbrellas that doesn't take up much space but isn't really big enough to cover the entire inside of the windshield. It keeps the sun out on a hot day, which is important in South Florida. However, the locking mechanism you use to close the umbrella stopped working after about a week, so the umbrella sits loosely on the windshield, not tight. It stays up when you fold down the sun visors to hold it in place, just like any other windshield sun visor. If it had been made out of stronger hardware the position locking mechanism would still work. I had to buy a new, different sun visor because at the end of the day it's just a mess in the ass. PROS: Cool idea, folds into a small umbrella size for easy storage. CONS: Cheap hardware that stops working after a few weeks.
