The magnet is not string at all.
Needed unit to hold a Mevo camera on a pole for softball. The magnet was not string enough to hold the camera.
Pros
- I use this with my Sony video camera and its a great combo. It has a strong magnet.
Cons
- Limited flexibility in angles due to the mini ball head
