This heat gun works, but there are two main problems with the temperature control. 1) The digital thermostat reads approximately 100°F TOO LOW. I dialed in about 100° and pointed the heat gun at the cardboard for a minute and it showed 180°. When set to 375°, the cardboard heats up to 490°2) The dial on the back is marked backwards. The numbers from 1 to "MAX" move clockwise around the dual, but the dial rotates counter-clockwise. So if you put a mark on the case at zero when you turn on the heater, the reading will be 0 - - - MAX 8 7 6 5 4 3. These basic functional errors amaze me.
