Review on CURT 18220 38 x 34 x 18-Inch Black Vinyl Cargo Bag for Roof Basket - Weather-Resistant & Durable by Tai Waldbillig

We first used our bag on a long trip around the Outer Banks. We stowed all of our luggage in it, as well as a few other items for the trip. It's super spacious! We put it in our compatible Curt roof basket and had absolutely no fear of losing it along the way. I put a tarp under the bag to prevent the bag from snagging on basket gear. Arriving at every stage of our trip it was completely dry in the bag despite riding through several sustained heavy downpours. It was a bit tricky to install the first time (mostly straps) but has been easy every time since. I would like the sides to be a bit more self supporting as shown in the picture. Having this on our roof definitely impacted our fuel economy by about 5mpg, but the extra space and comfort in the car was worth it to me.
