Acorn nuts for ventilation hood

The product was in perfect condition but the acorn nuts on each side were tightened with extra nuts and after driving on the road both sides came loose. Not only is it a replacement part, but the bottom screw has a different thread than the top one, so they just sit in a box in my garage and the OEM is back on it.
