I really like these screws, they are heavy enough not to loosen and tighten well. The head is a little lower than I'm used to and I love it. When the head is firmly seated on the board, it squeezes the wood a little to get a tighter fit. Nice reporting too. I sunk them a full 4 inches into the jaws. Neither of them opened up. I had to remove a few and they came off easily. The bit fits well and is still in good condition after over 200 screws. There are also some 3" Hillman screws. the same quality. This is my favorite brand.
