Really Amazing Stuff

So many aquarium products overpromise and underperform but these tablets really work. Plants have just taken off. Love this stuff.

Pros
  • Great for beginners or experienced hobbyists alike
Cons
  • Not effective on some types of aquatic plants

Raises ph a freaking lot.

Product raised my ph and killed an entire stocking of fish. Don’t use. Probably has an application it’s good for, but aquarium use is not it.

Pros
  • Long-lasting – one tab can last up to six months
Cons
  • Not compatible with all types of filter systems

Large Tablets for Pond Use

I did not realize these were for large pond flowers so I chopped one tablet into smaller pieces and distributed throughout aquarium (15 gallon cube). The plants are doing great, and they became more green by the second day of placing tablets at root base of all plants in aquarium.

Pros
  • Great product my plants love them but it will raise ur ammonia levels
Cons
  • I think it is too big

Great product on my review.

I ordered some aquarium plants online and although they were doing ok they just weren’t thriving after adding the fertilizer it was as if they were actually living . would recommend

Pros
  • My amazon sword were wilting and dying. Grew new healthy leaves within a few weeks!
Cons
  • Fertilizer runoff could harm surrounding ecosystems

Didn't work at all

didn't work for any of my plants, except my cryptocoryne. All my cryptocoryne lost they leaves, that never happened with using API roots tabs. Waist of time and money.

Pros
  • Can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums
Cons
  • May require specialized knowledge to use effectively

Awesome fertilizer tablets

I just started a new tank. This works like a charm for my root feeders. They are pretty easy to push deep into the substrate so they do not leach into the water column and as a result they deliver optimal nutrients to rooted plants. I have placed a few around in my planted tank, and so far everything seems to be just happy and improved color. No crazy water parameter changes or anything weird. Given me confidence to try harder plants and will definitely buy this product again.

Pros
  • Sustainable alternative to liquid fertilizers, reducing plastic waste
Cons
  • Can contribute to poor water quality if overused
