The product has been professionally installed. Despite constant readjustment, the return springs on the handle do not push the locking rods back into the latches. Disappointing because this was the best piece I got to solve this problem.

Perfect replacement for your broken OEM. We've had it for a while and it's really held up. I've seen other trucks around town with broken handles so this must be a common problem for OEMs. This is a great replacement at a reasonable price.

So far the pen works great. With the last pen I bought, the small pen holder broke after just a few uses. This pen seems to have a much stronger (bigger) spring bar. The price was good and I would buy this product again at any time.

Solid feel like OEM, no quality issues with clips. They seem to be holding up well, but leave the old ones on the shelf just in case. The handle broke on the original. Only time will tell how well it performs, but I think it's worth buying unless you're looking to pick up a much more expensive Chevy.

The clips that come with the kit are just plain stupid. When opening, the hinges let the upper part fall down. Now remember you are working in a hole in the tailgate. If she falls, she's gone forever, forcing you to order new clips. Luckily the new clips have ties to keep the top from falling off, other than that it seems like a good product.

It's cheaply made, it's made in Taiwan and just a step up from China, the pen itself works well but every time I it tries to block is in the way so if that's all you need it works fine it makes it a bit nicer if you can swap out the factory bar connectors instead of the ones that come with the kit but the ones that come with the kit are ok, just not as strong as the factory

The original handle broke during the 2004 avalanche ice storm. Replacement parts at the time were cheap clamps that broke so had to be modified and didn't hold the train very well. This pen eventually broke, just like the original. The pen I just bought was well priced compared to many others and suited what I had. The bar clamps were strong and worked well.
