Works just as it should

Super simple piece of gear that works right away and does as you need. Easy to plug and go with no setup or finicking. If I do unplug something while the computer it is connected to is on, sometimes I have to restart to make it register when I plug it back in but other than that, has worked fine for my work/gaming computers and is great. No noticeable lag when typing or gaming and is super fast to switch between the two.

Pros
  • Share printers, mice, scanners, and more with ease
Cons
  • Cable connectors are too short making it difficult to connect switches - additional cables might be needed

Great Product For A Great Price!

This switcher was just what I needed to help me with my lack of desk space issue. I now only need one mouse and keyboard on my desk, for both of my computers. The aesthetic and build quality are great and it's small enough to fit on my desk, without being in my way. I've had no functionality issues, either. It's definitely a great product and I'm sure I'll be buying more, in the future.

Pros
  • Boasts USB 2.0 for quick data transfer rates
Cons
  • The plastic encasing is prone to scratches and chipping

Great product in my review

Like many these days working from home, I now have multiple computers to contend with. I hated the thought of filling my desk with multiple monitors but even worse, multiple keyboards and mice. Looked at purchasing a new KVM's, I have several but none were HDMI, but the price was just not what I wanted to spend right now. Thought I would give this a try and wow, it does exactly what I wanted it to do and takes up no space. I have it stuck to the side of my desk where it is out of the way and…

Pros
  • Reduces clutter on desktops or workspaces
Cons
  • External power switcher adapter does not come with the device - must be purchased separately

USB 3.0 update to their 2.0 version

I used their USB 2.0 version to switch between two workstations and it would periodically lose connection and reconnect a few times per day.For standard working situations, it's annoying but fine. If you were to play a fast paced videogame with your keyboard and mouse, and this thing disconnects. your rage and blood pressure will rise significantly.I've been using this USB 3.0 model for a week now and it's been pretty solid. Have not experienced any sporadic disconnects. Time will tell.for now,

Pros
  • Very stable for maximum throughput and efficiency
Cons
  • The device takes a while to boot up

Works well with one common complaint

Does exactly what I needed it to. 10/10 on providing that service. One star was left off because I am also having an issue where the slightest movement causes all of the devices that run through it to be disconnected. They reconnect quickly afterwards most of the time but it can still be pretty annoying when it happens semi frequently.

Pros
  • A cost-effective alternative to unplug devices every time
Cons
  • Inconsistent color quality when connecting monitors

Mislabeled garbage.

REVIEW IS FOR SGEYR USB 3.0 Switch USB Switcher 2 Computers Sharing 4 USB DevicesFirst device did not power on at all. Second device worked for a day or two. Now it has changed from an instant switch to a 5-10 second wait until it switches. Piece of garbage product. Buy another brand.Keyboards and mice are input devices. They labeled ports as INPUTS when they are OUTPUTS to the PC. Learn how to properly label your products.Mouse and keyboard now go into sleep mode and turn off. Im also had…

Pros
  • Wide compatibility with various operating systems
Cons
  • Switching ports may lead to loss of audio or visual quality

Tried running this on an old leftover computer that had Windows 7 and USB 2 slots and at first it would work albeit intermittently and needed some fiddling and rebooting and what not, but soon it just quit responding and ended up burning out the USB slot on the board. It might be a bad unit, or it might have some compatibility issues. Can't say one way or another

Pros
  • Saves time and effort when connecting and disconnecting devices
Cons
  • Limited connectivity range which results in the need to remain in close proximity for efficient connections

Cost effective simple solution.

I love the low profile and simplicity of this switch! There is a slight (maybe slightly more than a second) delay on switching over, but it’s been a great way for me to utilize both my iMac and windows computer all at one desk with one mouse and one keyboard. It also comes with the extra cables you’ll need to hook up to both computers, and no software install is necessary to use it.I have a favorite gaming mouse that has been discontinued, and is now upwards of $200 to try to acquire. This…

Pros
  • Comes with two A to A cables for added convenience
Cons
  • The switch box is unable to handle excessive power loads

Best item I've bought in a while.

Since working from home during this "virus that shall not be named" situation, I switch back and forth between my work laptop and personal computer quite often. I'm not a big fan of using a laptop keyboard and a touch mouse pad. My personal mouse and keyboard kept getting in the way when I needed to bring the laptop closer to me to type and I kept grabbing the wrong mouse on occasion. Also, I'm not allowed to install Synergy to my work laptop. Buying this USB switch was the best alternative. It

Pros
  • Computers & Accessories
Cons
  • Not compatible with more advanced PC mice with additional buttons or scrolling options

Great device and company that stands by its product

It wouldn’t let me leave a review on the storefront so I will leave it here. I've been using this device consistently since the pandemic started and it’s been excellent. Recently, I had an issue with the device, I contacted the seller - had excellent communication and took care of the issue. I am happy with the product and the seller. Would definitely buy from them again.

Pros
  • Readily available cables make operation a breeze
Cons
  • Switching between high data transfer rate devices can lead to device failure

I used this to allow my wife to swap between here work laptop and a desktop computer using one wireless mouse and keyboard. Power can be supplied through the A to A input cable from the either computer or by the micro USB port near these two computer inputs. Came with all the necessary cables for input from computer to switch. Only downsides to this design appear to be no hot key to swap inputs and no mounting holes/mechanism. Everything feels solid to the touch and input is fast and…

Pros
  • Hassle-free and user-friendly design
Cons
  • Device does not have a reset button

Works most of the time but overall happy

I bought this kvm switch to use one keyboard and mouse for two computers. It automatically selects the correct input when you turn just one computer on at a time (most of the time.) If both computers are turned on you can still switch back and forth between them by using the button on top of the box it's self. The only reason for only 4 stars is that it doesn't always select the right input when one computer is turned on. Sometimes when one computer turns on it doesn't switch to that input (or…

Pros
  • Ingenuous, modern design
Cons
  • No warranty on USB cable that comes with it

Solid feeling, good performing, some quirks

Purchased for the intent of shelving away pesky Bluetooth keyboards and mice. Does it's just well; I can switch between systems simply, but there's a bit of a buffer as the kvm switches inputs over. Won't work unless powered by both outputs, comes with additional power if you intend on using it for more than mice and keywords.DID NOT like it when I tried to use it with a webcam, extremely choppy frames.

Pros
  • Great for use in small offices or home offices
Cons
  • Has a limited operating system compatibility range

Mostly works great in my review

On switching to the second PC it reverts to the first fairly often but just switch over again and it sticks then. Switch box is not wireless.

Pros
  • Effortlessly switch between up to 4 devices
Cons
  • Switch box is not wireless

Worked perfectly for 6 months

This thing worked flawlessly for about 6 months. All the way up til recently. Not sure what happened but I assume something fried internally because all 4 device ports are dead even though it lights up and detects PCs still.Gonna replace it with the USB 3.0 model anyway. Hopefully the next one lasts longer

Pros
  • KVM Switches
Cons
  • Switch box adds more cords and clutter to desk area

Worked well for my home office.

I used this product to use the same keyboard and mouse for my personal computer and my work computer in my home office. I use the same two monitors as well, but connected them to each CPU separately from this product.

Pros
  • Worked out for what I needed it for.
Cons
  • Does not support USB 3.0

HDMI doesn't work good for me

HDMI doesn't work. Maybe I got a defective unit. Mouse and Keyboard work fine. Tried using the included HDMI cable for both input and output, tried swapping input 1 & 2, etc. Have the unit plugged into 5v power so that isn't a problem. Made sure my resolution and refresh settings were compatible. Monitor displays "no connected hdmi cable" whenever I try running the signal through this device. Also should mention there are no included instructions, so I may be doing something wrong but there is…

Pros
  • Eliminates the need to purchase extra peripherals
Cons
  • Switch box is not durable enough and can be easily damaged

Works well but - my new review

It works well and for my purpose I did not need the extra power to the device. The but is, even though it's not a big deal to push the button to swap between devices, I wish I purchased one that let me control the switch from the keyboard. Additionally, while I recognize there is limited room given the size of the device, I kind of wish all the ports were on the same side. Right now the AB ports are on one side and the peripheral ports are on the other side. This makes placement and cable…

Pros
  • Simple one-button operation for quick switching
Cons
  • Causes delays when file transfers are initiated

Well-made, works great

Really well-made product with a solid, hefty feel to it. Works perfectly, I like that the indicator LEDs aren't too close to each other, making it easy to see which side is selected. I first tried it with wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, and Plantronics headseat, all of which work

Pros
  • Saves money by minimizing the need for multiple devices
Cons
  • Does not support multi-card readers
