A lot of people might like these mugs, but unfortunately there were a few things that killed me. On the plus side, the size and shape work really well. The large size means these mugs aren't just for drinks; Think soup, stew, cereal, etc. The shape means you won't easily tip these mugs over. However, I am disappointed in a few things. I initially gave this mug 4 stars. Unfortunately I have to downgrade it to 1 star. Unless you like drinking plastic strips. That's the problem. The cup is TOP. But the snap-on lid has one fatal(?) downside - after about a month of use, the plastic strips separate from the top and, if you can't see it, flow straight down into your stomach. I really like these mugs except for one big flaw. it's been cold for a long time. They're not as good as a vacuum canister in that regard, but I wasn't expecting that either. They keep hot coffee or tea pleasant to drink for at least a couple of hours. I love that they are microwave and dishwasher safe. I am for ease of use.
