Great alternator at a great price. i can't win He tightened the screws perfectly, connected, put on the seat belt and was back on the road.

1 star? 5 Stars ? I will never know I made a mistake in my head and blamed it on the alternator. Ford has an extra wire that goes from the starter motor back to the battery (fusible link). I left it unplugged as I was dealing with bad connections for my snowblower and blamed my mistake on a foreign made alternator. YouTube and the Ford forum do not verify this.

The problem with the charging system warning light has been fixed for a few years.

I installed this on a 1999 f250 Super Duty with a 7.3 turbo diesel after several different parts shops had tested my old one several times over a couple of years and found no problems with it. Turns out the old one had a bad regulator and he kept charging the batteries until he ruined one of them. Luckily both batteries were still under warranty.
