Works well for spares

Much easier to work with than I expected. Unfortunately my holes were too close to the bottom of the fender. I used a cutting wheel to get it working. I wish I had to destroy him, but he died for a good cause.

  • Sturdy finish

Great tool for engine parts

I am rebuilding (on restomod) a 1967 Glastron V156 triple body. Due to the previous owner's negligence it needed a new transom and floor so of course a new drain pipe had to be installed. This tool made installation easy. I highly recommend it.

The perfect tool for the job.

Used this to install a new Moeller drain pipe on my boat. Tip: Lubricate the threads a BIT before use, it does not require much effort to roll up the drain hose. If you cut the pipe properly (if necessary) it will leave a nice wavy edge instead of a flat one. I plan on using this again, I need to replace two more drains through the hull on one boat and two more on the other.

  • Absolutely amazing!

I then installed the brass inserts with 3M 5200 and held the insert with a large pair of pliers and made it 1/4" longer than that Thickness of mirror cut. I inserted this flare tool, tightened it with wrenches and blew up! I grabbed my impact wrench and went with it and it did the perfect job. Just let it run until…

works as advertised and has an additional feature

works as advertised and has an additional feature. This morning I used this tool to install two drains. A few notes. I applied a small layer of wax (Johnson's Wax Paste) to the inside of the brass tube as a lubricant. Ancient torch tools did this to give it a correct look. For sealing I used 3M 5200 Fast Set. Be careful and clean the tools as soon as possible or you will never take them off. I had to "turn" the key vigorously (I'm 76). You might want the breaker to do the last bit. As for the…
