Fits my 97 c3500 7.4. This increased engine noise but didn't notice a noticeable difference in MPG. The installation was fine but it's still a little wobbly/loose even though all the screws/fasteners are all properly tightened.

$100 off I had to pull the trigger to purchase this item. No regrets as my truck can breathe now and what a difference in horsepower. They claim an increase of 20 hp. and that is so, if not more. Very satisfied with all K&N products.

Great product! I installed it on a '97 Chevy Dually and it's like the truck jumped out of the water, hit the surface and took a deep breath! THE GOOD: MUCH better throttle response and the engine feels easy. perkier.The BAD: As others have pointed out, this thing is loud! While I tow, climb, and throttle my toy dump truck, my kids want to stick their ears in the rear crew cab seats! Although at cruising speed it's not even noticeable. it's only when you open it. Highly recommended!

I installed this on a 3/4 ton Suburban and saw a definite improvement. I have a 454 and adding the K&N kit improved my fuel economy by almost 2mpg and I noticed an additional increase in horsepower. Installation was easy, which says a lot considering I'm far from a mechanic. When installing, I highly recommend taking the time to give the throttle body a good clean.
