🚀 Maximize Honda Civic Si's Power with K&N Cold Air Intake Kit (2017-2019) - Boost Horsepower and Performance - 69-1504TR Review

Purchased for my 2017 Civic Si sedan. Fits perfectly and works as described. The engine sound is better and now I can hear my Tubro running. Sounds great when you hit. My car used to pull on a somewhat flat line for a little over 5km, but now I feel like it's pulling all the way to the red line. I am very satisfied with my purchase and can only recommend it

I can't say I feel a performance difference. But the low-end grunt and turbo sound are amazing. I highly recommend it if you really want to hear something, as opposed to a muted sound setting. My friend and I installed it in about an hour, no problem. Love it. The video doesn't capture this properly, when you're actually on boost the blowout is a lot louder.

I love this air intake, it's not difficult to install at all and noticeably increases horsepower and torque. What's even more noticeable is the blowing sound of the boost. Very addictive while driving, not sure about gas mileage, could hold my foot long enough to tell. Looks much better than stock and would highly recommend purchasing for your 10th Gen Civic SI.

You will love this air intake. I'm happy with how it sounds. As always, I found K&N's instructions to be extremely clear. It's worth noting that the performance changes the power curve significantly in a way I wasn't expecting. He exaggerated the already protracted turbo lag that this car has. So less traction at low revs and then more when the turbo finally kicks in. You win something, you lose something.

Pretty easy to install but pulling out the old airbox was a bit of a hassle. I don't know if you're getting a lot of measurable performance, but it's TOTALLY worth it for the sound alone! You can hear the intake WOOOOSHHHH when the turbo is going bad and PSHHHHHHH when the relief valve burns out. Once you stop pushing it too hard just to hear new sounds, you'll likely gain around 0.5mpg. Anyway, I made it.

Well I was happy to install this when I got it today. However, after I removed my old air intake and installed a heat shield, I was disappointed to find that they had installed the wrong filter! It was too big and didn't fit in the hole. I spent 2 hours trying to find a store where I could buy a filter of the correct model. I installed this on my 2018 Honda Civic Sport and all I got was a magnetic sensor that didn't match the intake manifold housing. I figured I could get away with it. NO. Everything, I have less horsepower, then check BAM, engine light and limp mode. So I reinstalled my stock pickup and everything is back to normal. Don't expect horsepower gains, just change the power curve. But it will be a good helper mod for the things to come. Basically just gives you that satisfying tubro sound. You can clearly hear whether the windows/sunroof are closed or not. If you listen to music on volume 18 when everything is closed, you won't hear it. Looks good under the hood.
