💨 High Performance K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Increase Horsepower for 2008-2010 CHEVROLET (Cobalt) - 69-4518TTK Review

I have a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS turbocharged, this inlet works great for power and fuel economy. My average is about 28 in the city and 33 on the highway. Now it has 32 cities and 41 highways. The power was 10 hp. and 12 foot pounds. Can you hear the difference in the car?

You can hear the turbocharger very well with this air intake. as with any cold air intake, the increase in horsepower. insignificant. it's there, but don't expect to feel it instead of your pants. I bought it mainly to boost the sound of the turbo for my personal enjoyment (factory exhaust) and it works great for that.

After much debate and hesitation about the idea of closing this, I've made my decision. I regret nothing! I have a 2009 turbocharged Chevrolet Cobalt SS and there were actually quite a few options in the air intake area. I may have been a fan of K&N because I had one in my last car, but I feel like I got the best deal for the money. UPDATE MAY 10, 2013: I bought HP Tuner VCM Suite with Interface Pro for GM vehicles and was able to rate MAF to get LTFT ranging from -0.8% to +0.8% which is a noticeable difference of +11% to +12%. The engine runs MUCH smoother and has better performance. I highly recommend that you get your own dynamometer setup if you don't want to tune it yourself, or consider setting up the HP Tuner VCM Suite for auto-tuning.
