I bought this scaler this year, I was going to buy it and I've put it off, always saying I'll get by with it and that I'll buy it at some point. . Finally the day has come and I'm glad I bought this at a reasonable price and it works as intended. I have provided years of service and I would recommend it to anyone in need of a scaler. Needle scalers are generally air intakes. But so far I haven't found one that has a lower SCFM rating than this, 4 SCFM. With this needle descaler, my Makita 3HP 5.2 gallon (MAC5200) 6.5 cfm compressor runs at 90psi for about 12 seconds before the pump kicks in. The only minor issue was that the included 1/4" fitting didn't quite fit my hose coupling, which didn't fully close; but I was going to buy a swivel plug anyway.
