Appears to be accurate. Gives readings quickly and is constantly updated. Like an automatic shutdown. Looks durable.

Very accurate, can be recalibrated and definitely waterproof. mine survived a fall into a pot of tomato sauce. The only downside here is the size.

Ever since Trader Joe's changed the cooking instructions for many of their packaged frozen meals to require a core temperature measurement, this little device has come a long way.

So far so good after a few months of use. The buttons are too tight so they need to be pushed harder than some cheaper ones, but this thermometer seems to last longer because of it. The groom is a cook, so he's accustomed a lot and doesn't cause any problems.

I haven't tested if it works in the dishwasher but I bought this one to have a thermometer that cleans at least a little bit better than my previous one. At least it can handle a few splashes from the sink, and the temperature readings seem very quick and accurate.

Easy to use for school kitchen to record the temperature of hot and cold food, including the temperature of frozen food. I bought it for personal use as we only had old non-digital thermometers at school. My only complaint is that it's difficult to turn off, I just turn it off automatically after 5 minutes.

Auto shut off doesn't work. Used once at work, put back in my chef jacket, used again, dead battery an hour later. Unfortunately, it uses a button cell battery that isn't even available at the local hardware store. So what to do, buy another battery? Or buy a thermometer with better performance?

Just wanted to say that Taylor is my favorite brand of waterproof compact digital cooking thermometer for use in an industrial or commercial kitchen. The buttons and interface were easy to understand and reading was accurate and clear. One of my main producers asked where I got this from and said Revane had it. He knew the thermometer we use was crap because it only had 2 settings "D" and "F". But in any case, this is the best replacement for a compact waterproof digital thermometer.
