Great! I didn't really just buy it as a pet carrier. I bought it to discourage my dog from eating cat food. I have a big dog and every time the cat threw its food on the floor, of course it ate it all. It made her fat and cost me money. I couldn't put food on the floor either. So I put the cat food in the back of the transport box. A dog can't stick its big head in to eat cat food. It's also great to take him to the vet if needed.

Tried to interest the cat in carrying. I left him at the foot of the bed so he could get used to him and not feel threatened. I carefully placed him in the carrier, talked to him the whole time and gave him pets along the way. What I didn't do was close the hole wide enough for his head. As soon as he heard the zipper close, he spurted through the head hole and ducked under the bed. It took several hours to get him out from under the bed. If he even sees the bearer now, he will run away.

This carrier is fantastic! It's lightweight and easy to carry. I have used them to take my cats to the vet and on a 2 day road trip. My cats felt comfortable and cool thanks to the mesh panels. The "floor" is insulated and covered with polyester fleece. The stretcher is ideal for people who don't have a lot of space to store traditional plastic boxes - it folds flat and has a small snap tab to keep it folded, so you can tuck it under the bed or hide it in the back of a closet. +! I love this carrier! It made multiple visits to the vet and was comfortable and durable. My kitty could see through the mesh and felt slightly better on a car ride. It was easy to get in and out of the carrier as the zipper opened up and went over one end at the base. The vet also liked the design of the stretcher. Unfortunately my kitten has grown into a large kitten and is still growing - he will not fit in in the future but was great in his little days.

This is a small van intended to be used for short trips. My cat is under 10 pounds but is long and fits. I just don't think she gives kitties the hiding places they sometimes need. i like blue The zipper was really stuck and I was afraid I would break it. I think that for a shy cat you have to be very agile.
