They are blue best in cable sets

Matches 88 f150 302 fairly well. All cables are 2" or 3" too long for my liking. I might end up shortening them and buying new boots. There is so much slack on each wire that it looks ridiculous and worries me.

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not automatic

Installed it on my Mustang. Boarding was free.

Installed on my Mustang. The fit was loose around the end caps and they were very close to the headers. A few connector wires got too close to the pin headers and started to melt. I'll find another set that doesn't deal with headers.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not the great ACCEL cables you remember.

This is the latest version of the Accel Super Stock Wire Sets available today. I have used several of these kits and unfortunately the quality of this product is much lower. Changes in shape and fit were immediately apparent. I took a closer look and noticed that they are now made abroad. I think I should have paid more attention to that before buying. I have since replaced that set with a much better brand that is still made right here in the country. Do not expect the same product that you…

Cost: Cables

I first replaced my cables with a cable set from Bosch and within two years I had crossfire problems. Eventually, my number 2 cylinder started flexing through the spark plug boot onto the manifold heat shield, which also caused it to misfire. I definitely wouldn't buy Bosch wires again so I settled on this set of Accel wires. The cost was definitely higher than the Bosch ones I bought, but I think they're worth it. First you get 11 wires - one for each cylinder, one spare, and two coil wires…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
