Perfect Fit - Lighting and Electrical

Saved about $400 by purchasing this item and installing it in my 2012 Acadia. Before I had NO FM radio reception, now I can tune into all FM stations. The antenna mount fits perfectly.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

No signal, no problem

If you can't get FM channels even though you know the aerial is connected; this is a solution. It's a little tricky to install if you don't know what you're doing. Knocks out prices from dealers.

Pros
  • Outstanding design
Cons
  • Looks

Factory fitted high quality GM part

Factory original at a fraction of the dealer cost. Be warned, installation is a little tricky on our 2011 Buick Enclave due to the way the headliner is installed. I had to disassemble more than I thought. Absolutely not the fault of this part. It fits perfectly, but everywhere I researched it sounded like a piece of cake to replace.

Pros
  • Same as all before
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Works perfectly! fits spares

I had a very static radio. And not many videos or information about the antenna. THIS FIXED THE STATIC RADIO PROBLEM. This part was also the cheapest at Revain. Note, however, that there are two different antenna bases. One has a plug with a red and white wire and the other has only a plug with a white wire. I highly recommend taking the old one off to ensure you get the correct part.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Safety

Does the job! Save $$$ vs. retailer

The price here is half of what the retailer told me. I watched a few videos on YouTube and thought I could install it myself, but my car had a lot of components when I took the headliner off and I couldn't see the screw to replace it. I ended up having the dealer install it because I didn't want to damage my car by trying it myself. After installation it works great!

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Something different

This saved me a lot of money! Thank you Rewin!

I have a 2011 GMC Acadia that doesn't have very good FM radio reception. My 2010 Acadia has been very well received. I changed the whip antenna from 2010 to 2011, the reception has not changed, in 2010 the reception is excellent, in 2011 the reception is bad. I took the 2011 to my local GM dealership. All I've been told is that it could be an antenna base ($192) or a communications interface module ($320). Then they told me that it costs $80 to diagnose the problem and the labor costs $120 an…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great DIY project, leader in lighting and electrics

Installation went even smoother than I expected. I just used my fingers to lower the headliner. I removed the bolts from the hangers but found my car didn't need them. A 1/4" ratchet and 10mm socket quickly freed the old part so I could trace the wires to the connectors. Unplugging was the hardest part and I unfortunately snapped one of the ends on the side of the car (a bit of tape secured it). Then I tightened the screw again (with the help of my dear wife who held the antenna on the roof)…

Pros
  • Large selection
