was flawless, used it to convert my 80.

was fine, used it to convert my 80 amp toyota to this big output. Had to buy a conversion kit (cheap) to hook it up and change the mount but I knew that beforehand.

Great product - alternators and alternators

Great choice for my Caprice SS It works great with no problems. The only thing I didn't like was the poor packaging and shipping. The generator arrived with a few scratches, but the packaging it came in was completely damaged.

Good replacement alternator for GM B body.

I bought this through Revain Warehouse Deals. Fantastic price and very easy installation on my car. Fits exactly like an OEM alternator and is a genuine Delco aftermarket air conditioner. Please note this is new, not a reman. Generator.

Not enough for a loaded Impala IMO.

The first few weeks started well. It's still fine when cold, but as the temperature rises, the power output drops from 13.8 to 12, and then to 12.4 it drains the battery. Hot with all accessories at 11 to 12V medium power, higher RPMs can take it to 12.5. When I first received it. Stable 13.6 to 14.1 V. A bit disappointed.

Loud camps are not very comforting.

Bearings are noisier than the 20 year old original. Charges great. I was hoping it was made in the USA but it is made in Mexico. It's nicely finished and it's a new piece so there's no principal charge. I didn't have to clean up any mounting holes or threads like I do with some rebuilds. I'm planning to rebuild the old one at a local shop as a backup option as I don't trust noisy bearings.

Paperweight in spares

I drove this generator about ten miles. It was fine at first, then it started vibrating. Now it vibrates so much I can't even ride it. Yes, only about ten miles on the generator. Just reset my old one. All is well. I can't return because Amazon's return date has already passed. The so-called guarantee is provided by the manufacturer, i.e. ac delco, and not by the seller.
