🔌 ACDelco GM GT347 Yellow Fuel Tank Filler Cap: Genuine Original Equipment for Optimal Performance Review

Website says this gas cap will fit my GMC Sierra 2010 but will NOT work. I had an evap. a code saying I had a leak (mostly the gas cap). I bought this hat and nothing has changed. I assumed the new gas cap wasn't the problem and tried a few other small changes. I ended up taking my truck to the shop and they said the cover was not for my truck. This issue was corrected with the correct gas cap.

I bought this because I was told we have a leak in our fuel system which is causing the 'check fuel cap' light to come on, unfortunately this leaked cap is worse than that Original. I had to pay for an expensive leak test only to find out it was this new cap. I can't return it now so I just ran out of money.

My 2013 Chevy Tahoe LT had a check engine light on and after some online research it was usually the gas cap. Further research online helped me find the correct part (make sure you check your car manufacturer's website). The old one is gone, the new one is in. The engine light is off. Super sweet!

I purchased this cap after my OEM gas cap on my 2012 Yukon Denali happened to start refusing to stay depressed. The check engine light came on. This lid caused the exact same problem of not staying closed immediately after installation. After reading similar reviews I bought a $6 gas cap from Revain and it gives a few clicks and fixes the check engine light issue. I would like to return it and get my money back, but it's used so probably can't be returned.
