🐶 ACME Double Dog Whistle No 640 for Working Dogs Review

Should have ordered something like this a long time ago. My stubborn mustache is a badass card player. Just one sound on that whistle gets his attention and he stops👍🏻

I love the double whistle. Our dogs are trained to do this. Double whistle offers flexibility during training. I would have liked a bigger hole to attach the laces.

I have at least 10 different whistle and for some reason my dog responds very well to these. I like having two whistles in one and it sounds really good. I also used a piece of paracord for the lanyard and it worked fine. It works well from afar and up close. Get the one you like.

I've been using the 640 for several years and find it a great whistle - 2 notes in one and easy to carry on one string. Dogs respond well to any tone, a higher soft tone for direction changes and a lower (also louder) pea tone for repetition. Never had a single break, but sometimes she lost it.

Finally! Finally a decent dog whistle and not one of those metal adjustable high notes. I've been looking for a long time to try and replace a similar one like this that went off the market many years ago and finally got lucky. Our puppy responded immediately. Now I tell my fellow sow guides where to find them.

I have never used a dog whistle but decided to give it a try and see if I could work with my Great Dane. I got a lot of help from the net in the form of suggestions and instructions. I am very pleased to report that his training is progressing rapidly.
