Replacement Activated Carbon Water Filter: Enhanced SEO-friendly Option Review

Inferior to other activated carbon filters. Lasted 3 months while others came out in 6 months. I only use activated carbon, no RO filters. So I can see when the activated carbon filter is running low and the taste changes.

After some time I finally got around to trying it out. They are ¼" too long to fit in one of my filter housings. Too bad I didn't buy the whole pack. Gave these to friends to try and they didn't fit in their filters either.

Purchased on April 17th. But when I go through them, I realize they're not worth it. A couple of them have been on the road for almost 2 months but lately they only last weeks. I have great water to start with and just use a rusty well pipe and sediment filter. These filters are larger, have a larger surface area and are made entirely of carbon. I switched to them after using Dupont and 3M. What these guys are selling is borderline criminal. Your filters are a sham. To kid. In fact, they are paper filters with a thin carbon coating. THESE filters are made entirely of granular carbon. I have well water in Minnesota and we get hydrogen sulfide in our water. My house has very severe rust in the well system and sulfur smell/taste. Our first filter is a regular thread filter to remove heavier debris and we use this filter to collect the rest.
