🔌 Basement Storage Adapter Control Review

BOUGHT THIS MOTION SMART LAMP HOLDER FOR THE BEDROOM I GO MANY TIMES A DAY. I wanted this to replace the socket in the ceiling which didn't work with the cord but was stacked in position so after inserting this smart lamp mount it works perfectly. EVERY TIME YOU OPEN THE DOOR, MOTION WILL TURN ON THE LITE IN ONE SECOND. YOU CAN SET THE TIME FOR SHORT OR LONG MOTION DETECTION TIME. CAN USE IT ANYWHERE IN THE HOUSE THAT NEEDS TOOL LIGHT.

Can work normally when hung on an insulated beam. Installed in the corner of the eaves, with white soffit above and white paneling behind, every time it is switched on it thinks it's daylight and switches off immediately! It looks like a turn signal at an intersection in my small town! Also, it's not a real "motion detector". It is designed to detect sources of infrared heat, not movement per se. I will use a real motion detector. Tried to save a few bucks.

Works great after adjusting sensitivity and duration. I use it in the garage with a 300W malleable LED bulb. At first it only worked if you moved directly underneath it and it only stayed a few seconds, but after removing it and examining it carefully you'll see very small, unobtrusive, white, flush plastic duration and sensitivity adjustment screws. I use 2 of these for the lighting in my garage which is above the laundry room. The only power switch is in the back of the garage, so it's easier to just leave it on for a while and use it to turn the lights off after a while. They work well and turn on as soon as you get close to their location. However there are two downsides to live with, firstly if you use it in a ceiling light where the light is directed downwards there is a dead zone directly under the light source to stand in and the…

It's cheap enough to have low expectations but as others have noted you may not need to have expectations for this item. I installed it suspended from the ceiling in the center of an 8ft x 6ft laundry room, insulated with a solid door to the garage and another to the house (with a small cat door in the bottom corner). My only complaint is that one of the blocks appears to have been returned by another customer, it wasn't in the plastic wrap and the instructions were crumpled and stuffed in the box. , the other block was obviously new. I installed both and had to tweak them a few times, but now they work great.
