AEM Mazda Miata 06 09 Charcoal Review

This Automotive Emission System upgrade was a big letdown for my performance car. After trying this product i didn`t see much of a change from the original system .The only positive was the aesthetics of the charcoal color. However, the lack of improved performance made this upgrade not worth the investment..

I installed this air intake a week or two ago. My car is anything but stock, it has a full Goodwin Racing Roadstersport street exhaust and tuning. The exhaust made throttle response a bit sharper and the engine growled more under hard acceleration. I used an OBDII logger which showed the intake temperature was only a few degrees above ambient and quickly returned to that level due to overheating when starting and stopping motion.
