Has a toggle to adjust the sound quality (remove background noise). I spent time on the phone with different settings until my daughter told me that the phone's sound quality was top notch. You can spend more, but I doubt you'll find another headset with better sound quality.

I've been using this headset on a Vodavi Starplus STS for about a week and I really like it. I wish the volume was a little higher when I'm talking to the elderly and disabled, and sometimes I'm a little hard to understand. I had no complaints about not being heard or about background noise. I am very happy with my purchase. I have neck problems and it really helps that I don't have to keep my phone on my shoulder all day.

Normal for such a price. The only thing that confuses me is that it has to be placed at a certain angle very close to the mouth for me to sound loud and clear. Otherwise the people on the other end of the line will tell me that they are hard of hearing. If I don't move it, it still sounds great. I really like this headset! I bought this to replace the one that came with my Plantronics T10 and it's much more comfortable, sounds better and has a much better mic. It's a lot easier to get it in place and I'm very happy that it has a small windscreen unlike the last few headsets I've bought. The noise cancellation isn't as good as I was hoping, but I think it's down to the phone it's connected to, so I'd happily buy the whole phone and replace the Plantronics entirely.
