Akebono ACT1363 ProACT Ultra Premium Ceramic Review

Installed on my Silverado 1500 2013 2wd, absolutely quiet, very low in dust. In combination with quiet Bosch rotors, braking power and driving feel are the best the truck has ever had.

If you need new brake pads and hate the brake dust that collects on your expensive wheels you will love these pads. Clean, quiet and excellent braking performance.

They will not fit 2015 GMC Sierra as advertised. Akebono doesn't have a list of pads for Sierra by my mechanic at all and he was the one who got me to the brand putting front pads on my truck. I decided to save a few bucks and buy myself back. I finally got the Wagner ceramics from my mechanic.

Great value for money. Improved braking performance compared to standard brake pads. Verification during the purchase process stating the correct fit for my car was very helpful. Attaching the pads in the direction indicated was easy and strengthened my ability to switch them. Not my first brake change.

Regular brake pads (from Akebono, not ceramic pads like ACT1383 pads) dusted the wheels and I got modulation in the brake pedal. I have been using ProAct Akebono for many years and they are the best. I bought these pads to replace heavy duty brake pads that LOOK AT 12,000 miles. I bought high performance pads when I fitted my truck with expensive new cross-bore and slotted rotors.
